Ivy is 5 months! (or was a little over a month ago....oops)

Time is flying!!! I am way behind in my blogging and especially in my picture taking. Ivy turned 6 months on Nov. 28th and I have yet to take her official pictures. Let's just pretend that during this blog post it is October 28th and I am totally on top of things. :)

We went outside on this chilly fall morning and our usually smiley daughter was not finding things very smile worthy.  We were trying our normal silly sounds and funny faces and she just wasn't having it.  It happens.  She is still as adorable as ever with or with out a gummy smile. Enjoy!

Fall Fun

Last year my parents and nieces came over for a bonfire and we ended up taking some fun pictures of everyone. Those pictures ended up working perfect for their Christmas cards so my mom wanted to try to do them again. Can I just say taking pictures of five kids is chaotic? Especially when four of them are 3 or under! Regardless, we had fun and I think we got some cute shots. Enjoy! :)

 What a fun Ma and Pa our kiddos have!

Here are my two favorites from last year. My how they've grown!!

4 Months Old

We had another little backyard photo shoot for Ivy's 4 month pictures this month. I guess I should say last month because I'm running a little behind. I can't believe it's already October! Ivy is doing great and still growing like a champ. She has a doctor's appointment this week so I'm excited to see how much she's grown. Her new thing this month is rolling over. She loves her belly! We lay her on her back to play or to sleep and she immediately flips over. She's such a fun, sweet, smiley girl!

Anderson Orchard

This past Friday we went with Oliver's preschool class to Anderson Orchard for their field trip. What an awesome day! The weather was PERFECT and it was so great to see Oliver with his classmates. We never really know how he does in school or how he interacts with the other kids so it was great to see him in his element. It was even better to hear the other little kids say hi to Oliver and to call him their buddy. We love seeing the progress he is making and it makes me feel that he is right where he needs to be.

Oliver's Orchard Favorites
* Riding the school bus
* Picking raspberries
* Running in between the apple trees
*Throwing apples (oops)
* Playing on the playground and hay tower

 This picture is deceiving. He actually didn't care for the apple slushy. Shocking, I know!
